Is that a T-Bird Turbocoupe Turbo?

Good eye! It does look like an 87-88 Turbo Coupe IHI turbo!

Did a little research, and it is indeed a '66 Belevedere I.  As bottom of the line as you can get.

EXCEPT-

It came with the "Patroller" package (Not "Pursuit"), which netted you the aforementioned Certified Speedometer, HD 727 trans, 60A ammeter, HD suspension, and 11" drum brakes, which I now have to go back for...

So, went back to the first yard that had that turboed Slant Six truck in it today.

There was an E150 in there that was a custom conversion van, and it was 40% this weekend.

It was scary, rough, and scary-rough.

It did, however, have a pair of mini sunroofs.

I had been thinking about adding a pair of them to my DogeVan build, but they go for over $220ea nowadays. Thanks for the heads up on the 40% off sale, BTW!

I brought faaaar too many tools for this, which I am ashamed to admit. All I really needed was my screwdriver and my razor knife. I really don't know why I brought a drill powered sheet metal nibbler....

Last time I was here, I thought the glass wasn't removable.  This time I realized how the crank assembly disconnected.

These were designed with a bump in them to match up to the rib in the roof.  Hopefully they aren't Ford-specific. If they are, I'll just sell them for a semi-tidy profit and move on.

If anyone happens to see a c6 corvette in the yards as they wander around.....

....I’m looking for a cabin air filter cover that is on the pass side of the firewall in the engine compartment

and...

for the fuse box cover lid that is also on the pass side of the engine bay.

People want silly money money for these parts that few people will ever buy.

Weather finally broke, and I hit a different yard. Wish I hit this a bit earlier, but there were still a few goodies left on this 944.

I love the body on these. It's basically a 924 with box flares.

The interior had been stripped, as well as the door handles and wheels.

I didn't get to take photos of much else, as I was mostly here to pull parts from the 944 and about 15 "ZJ" Jeep Grand Cherokees, but I did find this in one of the Jeeps.

I'm doing my best to recover from my addiction to JY Impulse Buying, but I almost had a relapse here...

I've been going regularly to the JYs since the early '80s.  I had to learn to stop doing that after my garage overflowed. blush

That would be my fear. I already have way more stuff than I have room for.

Yeah, can see that. Have to be selective on the extraneous junk brought home.

Sorry – quick recap: Does (or did) that PA system thing broadcast your choice of animal noises??

What in the name of Bob Lutz is the question for which a Jeep making a noise like a hen or a frog or whatever is the answer?

A little of car show, but also a lot of digging for gold.

Found an incredible sight this last trip.

Everywhere you looked, you found more gold.

I would still Daily Drive it, though.

The white lines on red... Is that an interpretation of the Japanese flag?

The wheels are gone but is that a lowered Dajiban suspension on there?

I think it was just supposed to be some sort of custom graphics with a city using the main colors in the theme, but I'm not sure.

Suspension looked stock height to me.

Only hit one yard today, as I was going after a specific vehicle.

But as always, it was the vehicles I wasn't looking for that were the most interesting.

Land Rover Disco. Business up front.

Party in the back...
