I love catchy headlines...
Bought the car 4 days ago, already made two trips carrying stuff for SWMBO.
Here we have two bicycles and a scooter on the way to the kid's grandma's house for a garage sale.
Here we have a 40 gallon water heater the next night, after hers decided to E36 M3 itself. I think I'm going to keep this going as I carry things around town. (See if I can find photos of the first xB I had and it's adventures as well.)
I once fit 2 Subaru bumper covers, a quarter panel, fender, complete left rear suspension (including all arms) and brake lines in mine.
Another run was 1100lb of 3" thick granite slab.
Another 3 mazda BP motors and 2 G series transmissions.
Numerous pieces of furniture from kitchen tables that seat 8 with leaves, to corner hutches and cabinets.
I pine desperately for a hatch now. I had an 05' TC that I fit a 50 inch tv in the back, I also moved to Texas from VA in that car. I wish I had hung on for a bit longer and got a hatch Versa instead of the sedan.
If I had a box, there's no telling what I would try to fit in there.
The title is a little misleading. 
I am reminded of a punchline...

8 wheels for the old MR2 for rallycross, just before @wae spent a chunk of a day unmounting them by hand while I stood there watching him do 99% of the work.
Moving day for the cats with ex-SWMBO to the new house. I had 2, she had 2 and inherited 1 from her sister, plus litter boxes. 4 litter boxes to be exact.

We had one, ran flawlessly until someone ran into it at 261,000 miles. It was a very, very handy vehicle.

The secret to winning the fwd drift portion of the challenge (once I have a time I'm happy with) in a fwd car on the autocross course.
This xB is missing the tray that was in the back, 2 sided, storage and covered the spare tire. Tried calling a junk yard, they wanted $130 for one... 99% sure i'm going to remove the whole back seat this weekend and cover the whole floor with blankets and a dog bed for the pit bull.
That's the look with 1200lb of granite counter top in the back.
