You can do just that if you have the fab skill and well you have no rear bed. Inboardish shocks are going to be insane in cost and very very custom in valving to work correctly. Not sure what it gets you over the 4 link or the usual stuff though.
Build it to the job it needs to do not what is going to look cool. At least that IMO
Its not getting onboard coilovers, lol. Just front suspension in the rear like traxxas did with the emax. That's a revo in the pictures, just thought it was cool.
My SVT Focus spent the last year of its life getting thrashed through the SoCal canyons. When it's engine finally went kaput, I was glad I didn't leave any experiences on the table. Cars aren't forever.
