Someone in my neighborhood side swiped the Cobra. It's probably totalled. Three Sheriff deputies here. Sigh

My neighbors are awesome, they witnessed it, followed the offender, called the police, and got me. We cornered the person whose truck was totaled, too, an they were arrested. Hopefully they have valid insurance...
Car has 3 bent wheels (yes, with the BRAND NEW Nittos!), bent LF LCA/strut, bent rear LCA's, caved in LR quarter, and caved in LF fender. Unibody seems okay, but we need to get it on a frame rack. Destroyed the parking brake/rear calipers and he clutch (was in gear, brake set).

You say that as though he had to pick. I'm guessing at least two of the three. Good thing you've got decent folks as neighbors and they had your back.

You have FAR more self control than I do. Still, I'm sorry to hear about this mess, hopefully someones insurance can take care of it.
wow. I hope they come through with fixing it right, or at least get you the right value if it can't be fixed. That sucks man.
Dude, that's blows so hard I'm not even willing to make a joke about mustangs hitting stuff.
Hopefully insurance treats you well, and he gets well and truly screwed by the cops for his actions.
Ugh - I was looking forward to seeing you progress with that one. I'm hoping you get a good payout, and can make some more money by buying it back and parting it out.
That is serious suckage.
On the positive side... you got the guy responsible, there is no question who is at fault so you can let your insurance company go after him for the cost of the deductable, nobody got hurt and the buyback should be low enough that you can move the powertrain and all the remaining goodies to a new host if that one is not recoverable.
Still... yeah. No nice things. The universe hates us having them.
From your description that sounds like a total if the pick up points are bent. I would also look at for dif damage and for a bent axle and possibly bent brackets for the caliper.
The good news is they are a dime a dozen so finding a replacement should be easy un like my jag that was totaled in February and I still have not found a replacement for the money I got. Yes I am bitter about it still. And the idiot that hit me is driving a newer better Volvo than the one he hit me with.
He tried to be my buddy on the first day of school and I explained the screw job I got out of the deal and the lack of comparable cars locally. It was fun to watch him go away crest fallen. Don't get me wrong I made money on the overall deal but I would rather be driving my jag than my current corolla.
Damn that would piss me off. Way back in highschool my now wife plowed into a parked car but atleast she didnt try to run.
Aww, that sucks. Hopefully if it's totaled you don't have trouble getting a good value for it and you can replace it with something equally cool.
Arrested for DWI and hit and run, booked into the county jail, but only a $1500 bail. The police towed and impounded her truck, it was a 4x4 Tundra with big wheels, she broke a tie rod on the initial hit, so it drug the tire all the way to her house. I don't know if she had valid insurance yet.
I moved the car last night and it has bent wheels and suspension. Barely wanted to go around the block. I'll have it towed to Gil's and get going on the estimate.
