I wish the next one would be a revival of the SAAB 93 or 96 coupe, something to battle the Mini and Fiat 500. I think it would be a their saving grace if it came priced under the Mini.
From the website:
"Underneath all the exterior beauty lies the heart of the beast - the Eagle 4.7 litre engine matched to our 5 speed gearbox and sports suspension."
@2400 lbs and 340 ft/lb of torque. Where is that straight six thread?
I'm hoping for an E2A or a D-Type, as far as Jags go
call me weird, but I REALLY want a continuation/replica-mod of an old Toyota Sports 800. those are just neat little cars, heavy emphasis on little
The Maxston looks like a Bugeye Sprite and a TR8 got drunk one night and let things get too far. Now I want one.
The E-type revamp is just gorgeous. I found myself curious as to what they were going for when I realized it was one of those "If you have to ask . . ." scenarios.

Gulp. I'm afraid to ask - Anyone know the price?

From Octane Gossip:
As to how much. A ’standard’ Eagle E Type, if there is such a thing, costs £295,000 plus taxes. So add on the huge investment in time and research and it’s probably fair to say that the price tag will be the wrong side of £400,000. Can you buy one? Probably… But Eagle are flat out with their E Type business, so right now you might have to wait a while. Not the four years that Rick Velaj waited, but certainly not in time for this Christmas.
The covered headlight E type is the most beautiful car ever built. Period. And that is without a doubt the best 'update' I have seen.
I LOVE it, but even if I had the means, what's that conversion rate work out too $700k?
I'd buy the new 911 GT2 RS and a $500k house to put it in.

I believe that some Italian guy, Enzo Feraro? Farfari? Can't remember his name, but he said the same thing.
