Your hot wife would look fine in the Bimmer. The Chevy is a tank, a tank with its own operating arena; but if you don't need it, why use it?
OTOH the BMW has a ton of miles. Wanna leave a hottie on the side of the road?
Glad I could not so help.
Dan
You will like the chebby.
Your wife will like the Bimmer.
"Do whatever the berkeley you want" does not mean what you wish it did.
Best of luck!
In reply to ebonyandivory:
I'd say BMW. But if mama is driving it, better ask mama. If I recommended that chevy to my wife- well, lets just say she would take the bimmer.
Are car seats involved here?
One car seat, one booster and regular ten y/o!
Can't be sure which parts of my body are telling me BMW and which are telling my Caprice.

Last time I got told that I ended up with a kid. REMEMBER KIDS DON'T BE A FOOL WRAP YOUR TOOL!
Also, the Chebby.
the BMW will cost the price tag of the Chevy in repairs the first time it breaks.
The Chevy had TBI injection in '93. There is no simpler system in the world.
Sure the BMW is more hip, but the Chevy will always be there for you. (and Hop Up parts are cheap and easy for it)
If it were a 1994 LT1 car there would be absolutely no reason to look at the BMW.
Voting Chevy.

Ever notice the list of cool cars you can own with two kids dwindles to almost nothing when you have three? (No offense Liv!)

Three? Try four. I should buy a bus.

huh? that Caprice seats 7 comfortably and 8 if you can find someone that doesn't mind sitting in the middle of the front seat...
I keep typing this then deleting it...
You'd probably be happier with the wagon then.
But I'd still go with the BMW

Right, the Caprice and the BMW are cool but they're on a very much shortened list that used to include every four-seater.
More money, but this is our area. I'm trying to talk the wife into a woody wagon. Lost out on a Mazda speed6 two weeks ago that was on ebay and in Carver, with 8 seconds left in the bidding.
