I am reading this through tears. It's been a rough time for not just us, and I am more grateful for this community than you will ever know.

The truth is, about 50 of us wouldn't know what the berkeley to do with our lives if the challenge disappeared, so we need to keep you afloat
This forum alone has saved my life, figuratively and literally, more than I can count, and more than I'll admit. I'm serious. Words are not enough to express how much I love all you guys and what you do.

You know, that's not a bad idea. If you'd just like to send us money, I'm certainly not going to stop you. We're going to search for a more structured way to do this, but in the meantime you can PayPal us money here:

Sent some $. My subscription is not due for renewal for quite a while and I don't wear black t-shirts. In these times, y'all are needed more than ever to help keep the inmates at the asylum calm... :)
Edit: Oh and Margie gave us a bread recipe that I have now made 2x... :)
You guys put up with me and my wife likes long sleeve t shirts so that was just a very easy purchase to make.
Least I could do; hope to see you in October...

Oh cool! It's a good one, right? This week's challenge: whole wheat bread with a malt additive to help it rise. I'll let you know how that works out.

Yes, that's correct. It should append to your existing subscription.
We do offer a 10-year subscription for $100, but unfortunately you have to call in order to get it (386-239-0523) due to some order page issues. :(
Quick update:
Me: hey babe, would you send GRM some paypal....
.....long pause.....
Me: did you find their account?
Wife: I found the thread on the forum and bought some shirts and a hoodie.
Me: I bought shirts a couple hours ago.
Wife: Good! Now i have my own GRM stuff!
Me: works for me!
How can we tell when our GRM and CM subscriptions are up?

That sounds close to what I was researching earlier today. Unfortunately I'm not making bread.
I have a L work shirt that is like new. I just don't wear it. I'll sell it for $50 shipped and send that $50 to GRM. Who wants it?
Couldn't get the T-shirt size to work so I got a hat. :)
Happy subscriber for many years and shirt ordered.
Two years of GRM and took the offer on ClassicMotorsports.
Looking forward to the t-shirt and renewing GRM subscription in April 2022.

Swanky new GRM shirt bought. You keep me and a few others in subscriptions and I find it to be an awesome year long gift for my gearhead buddies. Keep up the great work all.
In reply to Marjorie Suddard :
Turns out the t shirt isn't enough for the wife, she now wants bread recipes if you dont mind sharing... easier the better for her!
Back in the fold............Thank you ALL, for what you do. Be safe, be healthy.
Ordered a shirt, some stickers, and re-upped with CM. I'd be happy to kick in to support the forum, too.
I'm fortunate enough to still be employed and reasonably (I hope) secure. Lately I've been trying to increase my support for the things I enjoy from providers that probably aren't doing as well as I am. For instance, I went on Patreon last week and started kicking in for a few more of my favorite podcasters and Youtubers. Also trying to support some of the locally-owned restaurants that I like by getting carryout from them.

Okay, we're officially ready to give this forum supporter idea a try.
For now, it will just update your username to include "(Forum Supporter)", but assuming it gains some traction I'll toss some money to our developers and have a fancy gold badge or something applied to your posts.
You can sign up to be a forum supporter here, and I'll update your profile as soon as possible once the order is complete.

Hopefully this opens the door to allowing us to do more cool stuff like this in the future; let me know what you think, everybody.
I'll be ordering a few shirts for the cause. I wish the anniversary ones were in stock cause as a straight white male I refuse to wear a shirt with a Miata on it

Yes, I'm enjoying it. Much better than store bought!
Just bought a gift subscription of CM for my dad.
Now that your advertisers are also having a hard time, can we expect a Grassroots Show Your Roots Retro Bonanza Way Back Trip to lower bond paper and black-and-white until the crisis is over? Everyone still has jobs since you are still printing, but rates can go down allowing advertisers to save some money. How about digging out some really old race coverage since we are down on new races to read about? I never got to read anything from back in the Auto-X days; it would be fun to read things from back when GRM was a hope and a prayer held together with a shoestring.

Tim and Margie,
I have been a subscriber since about 1987. I just renewed for another 18 months and bought another GRM shirt, because you can never have too many of those. I am sad events are having to be canceled , but much sadder that friends and neighbors are out of work. A small thing but every little bit counts. Hang in there and stay healthy. We shall overcome.
