During a meeting this morning regarding UTCC, we realized that we are lacking in a couple trophy sections for the event. We know we aren't going to fill them all, but there are some common ones that have gotten little to no entries so far. These are:
-Fastest Crapcan
-Small Bore Vintage
-Fastest Truck
-Fastest Honda
-Fastest Mustang
-Fastest Viper
Three entries into each class make the award offical. We want this to be a fun event with a lot of cool, unique cars out on the track.
If you or someone you know has a fast track car/truck/whatever that would be interested, e-mail me to enter: darren@grassrootsmotorsports.com. Thanks!
No fastest Kia Rondo with a Baby Seat and Dog Barrier? RIPOFF!!!
Wait you have more entries for fastest minivan than fastest Honda? How did that happen?
EDIT: I'm an idiot, nothin' to see here. Forgot minivan was lumped into Fastest Truck.

Find 3 of these and NASA-licensed drivers for them and we'll make it a trophy. I'll even sponsor it

Would a dwarf car fit in small bore vintage? It's 1.0 litre and looks like a 34 ford (sort of).
I want a Spec P71 class! Or is that included in fastest crapcan?
I can't do it this year, but might just have to give the truck class a shot next year.

Any car eligible for ChumpCar, LeMons, or our $20XX challenge qualifies for the Crapcan Trophy.
And as far as the P71 goes, yes crapcan class will definitely work.
Any other questions feel free to ask.

As long as its small-bore and old, then absolutely!

We could help out in trying to find a driver for your car (or truck), no promises though. Just be sure to let us know in advance to increase the chances of finding someone.

3.1 liters or less and pre-1981 year of manufacture
Since I'll be racing for nothing other than bragging rights, I hereby suggest an award:
- Most w/ the least. Fastest lap factoring in displacement.

My take on something similar.
Best bang for the buck.
you have a $5000 ride that hangs with the $50,000 guys.
I like that award suggestion. How about we get some more crapcan entries and i'll asses the situation then!
