I have some Nissan 350Z wheels I want to use that would fit my car. Rears are 17x8 and i'm wondering if it's ok to fit 255/40/17s on a wheel of that width? Usually I would use a 17x9 but a friend of mine said I should be fine. Just want to make sure he's not dumb.
Fronts are 17x7.5 and am putting 235/45s on which i've fit before.
Using Kumho Ecsta XS for this. Going to autocross on the 12th.
Should be fine.
