Grassroots Motorsports LIVE! Starts In:
Our press car service made a scheduling mistake, and somehow dropped a 573hp Acura NSX hybrid supercar at our offices for a few days. We figure the least we could do is give our viewers an up-close look at what makes Acura’s flagship model tick. We’ll get i…

Its refreshing to watch something where there is some technical knowledge being communicated. I love the detailed look at all the little things... would love to see this type of thing for more cars attainable by the average person.
I think you guys are doing a great job with GRM Live.

Thanks man. We appreciate it.
I'm not going to say I know the ins and outs of the engineering as well as plenty of other people, but I've got a fairly good feel for things, having been in this biz for a while. And I think I'm fairly adept at communicating those concepts I understand to the viewer. Ultimately that's what we want the show to be. We're probably not much more technically-minded than many of our readers, but we have great access to pretty cool stuff that our readers and viewers might not otherwise have access to. We want to be your conduit to learning and experiencing this cool stuff together.

Oh, and to follow up on this, we try and do one of these reviews whenever we get a cool car from the press fleet. We don't have a ton of control over what shows up for us to drive from week to week, though, so it's hard for us to schedule them too far in advance. That's why some of these shows have happened on non-standard nights. But, yeah, whenever we get something from one of our media loan services that would be of interest to our people, we try and get it on the show.

Heh, that's a fun mistake! Kinda like when the valet brings the wrong car around, except you have permission to take this one and have fun with it! =P

Yeah, I'm sure scheduling is tough for you guys. We get it :)
I know in the case of say a potential autocross car or track car, I'd love to see you toss it on a lift and ballpark what tire clearance might be like, camber adjustability, etc. You know, the stuff you'll never see in the average car review, but is kind of difficult to get a feel for until you really get under the car. Lets be honest, most of us have no intention of leaving a car stock.
Only this time did I see the live feed/chat thing below the video (which I have to scroll away from the video to see... weird). Its mostly full of spam, but I did see you check it a few times. I regret not taking advantage of that when you were interviewing the students about that Camaro build a while back.
Anyway, keep up the good work!
Mrs. DX knows that Wednesday is GRM Live Day!
Thanks for the kind words. And don't forget, more likes and shares help us justify all of this.
