NAPA has a Christmas special going on GearWrench pass-thru ratchet and socket sets. It's in the flyer, but kind of buried.
There's the 3/8" drive set: p/n 893823 and the 1/4" drive set: p/n 891427, both are $34.99 each.
This is at every NAPA in the country, not just the one I work at, so you guys can all go buy your own. Notice that the ratchets have locking flex heads and that GearWrench has a lifetime warranty.

I just pulled the trigger on Lowe's BOGO offer for tool chest and cabinet and now I have room for extra gear wrenches. But need a client or two to pay me....

Until Dec 31st, while supplies last (all the DC's have a few, so shouldn't be a problem).

Here's what I found: http://m.lowes.com/pd/12-in-x-17-5-in-5-Drawer-Ball-Bearing-Steel-Tool-Chest-Black-with-Free-37-4-in-x-26-5-in-5-Drawer-Ball-Bearing-Steel-Tool-Cabinet-Black/50084992?promoId=108605
i've never worked on anything where a pass thru socket was needed.. my Craftsman swivel head ratcheting wrenches are, however, some of my favorite tools.
The guy I work with has the original set, says he knew a guy who knew a guy and he was able to get his hands on a preproduction trial set. They are kinda weird looking, they are Gearwrench but they don't have the normal markings.
Very very very useful when you get something where the designer spec'ed a stud that is really too long for the application.
I like these, too: http://www.amazon.com/Mountain-MTNRM6-Universal-Reversible-Ratcheting/dp/B00DDO1DPG
WAY awesome. Like, I don't know how I lived without them, once I tried them for a week. They are like GearWrenches on steroids.

Yeah, having just spent about an hour working 4x 10mm bolts off the A/C condenser of the Manic Miata, with a regular crescent/box combo through a narrow slot from the wrong side and able to move about 1/32 of a turn at a time, I think something like those will be my next tool investment.
