I just bought an 85 Ford E-350. The engine wouldn't idle and the brakes too herculean force to stop. I assumed the booster was blown. I assumed wrong. The P.O. hooked the booster to a crankcase port on the air cleaner. The vacuum port was not too far away, but hidden behind the distributor...uncapped.
