At least in Ford world, the rear spring rate is one of the big differences between an F-250 and an SRW F-350.  The 350 has a higher bed payload and correspondingly stiffer rear springs, but is otherwise only slightly tweaked from the F-250.

Congrats! Am I the only one who thinks the tires on the truck look undersized for the wheel wells? Maybe it's just the photo.

As a reminder, general rule of thumb to use a WDH is when you are at 50% or greater of the truck's rated tow capacity. So many people have no interest in measuring their trailer's overall weight, tongue weight, etc and getting things "right" and instead opt for using a sledgehammer when a mini-sledge might do fine. But, guessing yours will tow your trailer just fine without WDH based on the numbers you shared.

In any case, this generation of SuperDuty is a really fantastic truck. Should treat you well!

First tow report- picked up my trailer from storage and towed it home. When I hooked it up the rear of the truck only squatted 1.5", to where there's still a little bit of rake compared to the front. Felt rock solid on the 60 mile trip home, even though there was a storm blowing through with 10-20mph winds. Got 10.5mpg with the cruise set to 65mph in the north GA hills. This was better than I expected, the F-150 would have gotten 9-9.5 under the same circumstances. That truck was good on flat ground but hills and wind got the turbos spinning and you could just about watch the gas gauge drop before your eyes. Anyway, we'll see how the new truck does on the SC trip this week but my preliminary impression is that I won't need a WDH or airbags.

They definitely do look undersized to me, but maybe it's because every other one in Atlanta has been bro-dozered out with 37's and you almost never see a stock one around.

Most modern trucks have undersized-looking tires.  Presumably so you have enough clearance for things like running chains with the truck loaded to the bumpstops.  That, or the extra sheet metal to make the wheel wells smaller is just too expensive...

They also don't come with fender liners.  The gap between the wheels and the body is much more visible when you can see the painted body and all the stuff in there instead of black plastic.

Fender liners were an option on the SuperDuty, so if you want them you can get them from Ford.  I have them on mine.

Made the tow from Atlanta to CMP today.  9.9mpg cruising at 65mph with a healthy dose of city traffic at the beginning. Could have made it to the track in one tank with about 20 miles of range left, chose to fill the tank right off the highway. Rock solid, I really don't think I need a WDH.  Super happy with this truck, totally stress-free trip.
