At one point I was thinking about building an E30 as a track toy, but I have since had a change of heart. I recently picked up an E30 iX, and finding E30 parts is not that easy - and that's just stock parts.
Maybe an E36 would be more appropriate?
I did the Miata thing for many years, and while it was the best car I ever owned, I don't want to go back.
