Either that's a tiny old man, or that is the biggest 7 I've ever seen...

The wheels ARE 20's...

I am curious what he wants for it, mostly because a crazy turbo V8 automatic 2x scale Locost with Jaguar bits rolled in is not exactly a car someone looks for (or, uh, wants).

a lot of people are doing blow thru carb setups these days.. you can call up any number of carb tweakers and get a carb sent to you within a couple of days that will work on any engine, at any boost level, and with any fuel..

some people don't want to fart around with computers and lots of fuel pressure, so that part isn't too weird..

How is it 1100hp in the ad and 650hp in the video I will spend my imaginary 50K elsewhere

Well, at least the wheels match the paint job and interior.

OH please.....yup it isn't the best looking Seven out there. Lets say it was only 500hp, with the auto would still be more than entertaining enough for me. If a stock miata can be fun, that thing can be fun.

Not my cup of tea, but with that much power and torque (even at 50% of the advertized values) an auto would be fine. I had a ride in an Escort Cossie based 4x4 Dax (7ish clone in the UK) with about 300hp. That is the fastest thing I've ever been in.

driving a car is fun...in general

3 pedals > 2 pedals...in general

I understand that, but this car is so far OTT that two pedals wouldbe fine, do you think your man enough to explot three pedals in this thing? If so McLaren will be calling soon. There are some car that are actaly betterwith 2 pedals than thre, a C4 Corvtte with an L98 for instance, and most diesels I've driven.

Don't really understand why he went with twin turbos to get 650 hp? a 383 can be built NA to nearly that. An lsx can make that easily. Sure, pricier than the 383, but lighter, lighter engine to start with and when you add in the weight of twin turbos and all the plumbing, WAY lighter. And probably end up with a more tractable power band, especially given the light weight.

Never understood why people build these weird things then turn around and try to sell them at "handsome profit" type prices. Some shops like blastolene can pull it off, but I just don't see there being a huge market for $50k blow through carb kit cars.

Totally out there, and not attractive to my eyes, but it is like climbing Everest. I believe that was done because it could be done. Didn't Mark Donahue say something about "enough" power? Like- "until I can spin my wheels all the way from corner entry to the end of the longest straight, I don't have enough power."

I'd wager that this car has "enough" power. Also, holy ride height!! You could almost park a real 7 underneath it!

I might be able to like this with a manual and on sensibly-sized, non-gangstariffic wheels, but as it is...I just can't.

yeah thats kinda what I thought, too... as soon as I saw how tiny the seats looked in there I realized the gigantic scale this was built to. Just made me think blastolene, only without the attractiveness.

It could also be the thought of driving a 750-1,000hp, 2,400lb car and the act of actually driving said car are two totally different things, maybe he thought he wanted it, but found he didn’t. Still doesn’t mean he’ll be able to sell it though.
