Two barrel carb on a CFI intake?

Wondering if anyone has put a two barrel Holley (or early Ford) two barrel carb on a stock 5.0 CFI intake?

Wondering how it might perform, if it would even work?

I know that there are fairly cheap aftermarket manifolds available, even stock Ford manifolds, but I'd like to see if I can work with what's already on hand.

Just looking for an answer, some real knowledge, not an opinion or suggestion.

Will it work or not?
