I would be happy with an Escalade. My plow guy got one cheap that was owned by a car service and had about a billion miles on it and it still looks and runs good. Also helps bother my nosey neighbor. She already thinks i have something to do with the mob because of my accent and odd hours. having a guy in a black caddy mow my lawn and plow helps keep up the illusion.

Follow me down this peanut butter ice cream peter pan seat encrusted nightmare rabbit-hole and riddle me this:
ASSuming Escalade is the answer, is there any reason not to choose ESV (LWB) over SWB? (Parking challenges aside?)
ESV Escalade is still just regular cab long bed wheelbase. So still not that bad parking in most of what I deal with. The ESV also still has Tahoe sized cargo area with the 3rd row seat up if you ever need such a thing. It has twice that room if you don't need the 3rd row. Also has more wheel base for towing and such. I also like the proportions of the ESV more.

Please promise me you’ll have him help you dispose of an old rug one of these days.

Looking for an Escalade with room to stretch out in back?
Bummer with the Escalade or Denali is that the seats don’t fold flat to the cargo area (or at least it seems that way in pics.) Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but I had to deliver what I would consider a “moderate” amount of fairly large pieces of framed artwork to Florida last year. Rented a newer Tahoe, which LOOKED to be twice the size of what I needed, and it was a monumental pain in the ass to get everything loaded due to the seats being higher than cargo area.
Van is probably still the ideal answer, but mama saw an Escalade next to an Odyssey today and flipped over the Caddy :/
At your price point, a Lincoln Navigator would check your boxes. I have one, and we like it a lot. Rear seats fold down for plenty of room, other than big furniture or long lumber, which I trailer. Seating will differ in back, whether single seats or bench in second row. Performs well, just check the air suspension if so equipped. Can get pricey to repair. Can tow a respectable amount, if needed. Gas mileage ain't the best, but that's not why I bought it. Drive one, and see.

Nah bro, 100% legit, just like all those Bronco renders.

I’ve had the family In a 14 4Runner limited as the alternate to the Tahoe/Denali. While it has been trouble free, it’s just unexciting. It is nutless and gets 14mpg avg. the turning radius literally never allows reasonable parking. Drove an 18 Tahoe rental a few months back and think it is better in every way despite being $$$ pricey. Would think about flipping the Yota for a used ~2015 Tahoe/Denali but have a few concerts on the afm cyl disable.

Third row doesn't fold flat, but can be tumbled forward or removed completely (easier on the newer trucks that have split 3rd rows), and the second row can be tumbled forward as well. Some of the newer more fully loaded models even have power tumbling seats. With the 3rd row in and tumbled forward you have about a 4 ft (W) x 5 ft (L) flat floor, and with it out you have a full 4 ft (W) x 8 ft (L) flat floor on the ESV or Denali XL. Which to answer your earlier question there is no reason not to get the longer model. It will ride better, and be more stable towing, and they are still easy to park (of course parallel parking will be a little harder). My wife daily drives our Suburban and previously the largest vehicle she had driven was a Forester.

Was just coming in to post about the Navigator. Every IRS-equipped Expedition and Navigator (from 2003 on) has a third row that folds flat like a minivan's. It's a big advantage, IMO. I can fit 4x8 sheets of plywood in the back of our long-wheelbase Expedition by simply folding the seats, and I can close the hatch, too.

Disclaimer: I grew up with my grandpa driving Caddies and Lincoln’s while Dad was in Mercedes and BMWs. The Infiniti wasn’t nice enough to last 3 years.
Check out the 2015+ Tahoe’s and Suburbans (and GMC equivalents). Spent a weekend in a 15 Suburban. If it had a Cadillac badge on it I would have been fooled.

Good to know! Thanks! All of the ads I’m seeing just show the backs folded down.
