After looking high and low for a new Elantra N manual I can not find anything. I see results occasionally for used one owner cars. Does anyone have real life experience with factory warranty transfers to a second owner? I did a quick google, but some sites say one thing other sites say something else.

The 10/100 powertrain warranty disappears and the balance of the 5/60 follows the car automatically with no action required.

This above is my understanding also...unless you buy the used Hyundai as a Certified Used Car off a Hyundai dealer only. In that case, the Hyundai warranty will continue as 10/100.
