UTCC/Hyperfest. May 13-15

I am copying this over from the Trips and Adventures thread...if I'm bending a forum rule, please let me know. 

Hyperfest/UTCC dates are out for May 13-15. I mentioned this casually elsewhere, but I would like to host a GRM forum member cookout Friday night at the bus. 
Ed Higginbotham and I will be there with some portion of the greater Higginbotham clan. 
Burgers, dogs, Italian Sausage and enough veggies to gain approval from my wife. 
I may set up a small jam area for those who do such things.  
It was nice meeting a few forum members at the last event...it's time to take it to the next level!

I can't imagine a more fun way to spend an evening at the track than meeting a bunch of you in person and checking out your rides.  And if you haven't driven VIR, you should.  

I'm planning to register for Hyperfest in the LMP360.  I'm not sure I'm ready to comit to the UTCC as I don't have a TT liscence for NASA.  I'm HPDE 3 in NASA GL but just don't have the time before the event to get to TT.  But it's on my calendar just waiting for registration to open for Hyperfest so the car will be there.

Awesome..looking forward to meeting you there!  (Almost as much as meeting the LMP360). I got an early bird registration notice yesterday. Looks like the gate has opened (at a discounted rate for first 300 takers)

Do you need a GA ticket if your going to do HPDE?  I'm not making the 13Hr drive towing If I'm not driving on track.  I'm going to watch for HPDE tickets like a hawk to try to get in.

Copy that. That is way better than 1 or 2. As you know, they go immediately. Still, let's keep an eye on it. Off topic, I plan to run the Pitt crossover so might see you there too?
