Guys, a friend has this beauty and is wondering as to its value.
1970 Maverick Grabber, paint is 30 years old but very very good, factory 4 speed, 9 inch, non original 351C making 500hp. Interior is original black and like new.
Car has about 40K on it.
What's the GRM opinion on its worth
I love Mavericks! Yery nice looking car. If I had the room & some money I'd pick it up myself.
I can't give you a price but perhaps around 1/2 of what a similar year & modded Mustang would go for?
Not really fair but it's about supply & demand. People love Mustangs, not many love Mavericks even though they are the same under the skin.
From what I've been seeing 10-15K seems to be the magic number for cars like that. At least that would be where I would start it. That one is pretty clean so I would go to the high side.

Nice looking car.
Not in love with the high stance; very 1970s.
Offer what you can afford.
I doubt you could replicate for 20k.
straight trade for my 2003 mazda6s sedan.

I'm not sure how much that car would be worth the way it is, but it's going to be worth approximately scrap value the first time it backfires and no one has a fire extinguisher handy unless someone gets rid of that stupid air cleaner.
I remember those being heavily advertised for a little less than 2K when they were new.

I was expecting a thread about these two mavericks...
Josh,
There's Mavericks and there are Pseudo-mavericks....
The red one is the real deal, and I ain't talkin' hair color.
