I think they mean measured from the axle centers. So, 2 feet.

The measurement should be taken from the center of the front axle to the center of the rear axle.

Your plan isn't gonna work. The car is to be held at the gate by the forward-most point of the car- so any advantage you'd have by running a longass car is negated by the fact that it'd all have to hang on the back end, and as soon as you transferred to flat, it'd wheelie, drag its ass on the ground, and you'd be SOL.

What is the angle (or dimensions) of the ramp? I want to bring a Jeep 4.0L valve cover and have some roller blade wheels I’d like to use. Since the valve cover is kind of long I want to make sure I have enough ground clearance so the ends don’t hit the floor or ramp.
