I'm shopping around for a new license plate to adorn the Ford with this summer. The car is a 68' Ford Fairlane with a mild 351W, just a fun cruiser. I didn't come up with too many 'Fair' related ones that were available but I'm open to any suggestions. Old granny's names, ford things, generally entertaining stuff, etc.
Unfair - Not available
Sofair - available
LS What - available, but maybe not what I want for this car

I am not much for vanity plates but I do know that these cars were assembled in Lorain, OH, 20 minutes or less from my house. As a plate, LORAIN is not available.
This did get me thinking and WIND 351 (and CLEV 351), W351 and 351W are all available.
68 FAIR is also available.
Is yours a Fairlane 500 or was the "500" designation a trim level above yours?
If so, NOT 500 is available.
Wait till Adrian gets back from his vacation. He's the vanity plate master.
Personally, I'd keep the generic plate on the generic (for its time) car.

I had a boss that wanted to get this for one of his trucks:

THE MAN
Just because that looks like the kind of car that The Man would have bought in '68. Plain color, four door, low frills.
Nobody's get it, though.
