Onikyan, Japanese for demon camber. So much negative camber. All of it. All the time. Why? Because onikyan.

WHY??? How many tyres per mile do you get??
As a function over form guy, I wouldn't do it because it makes the vehicle less usable and capable in just about every way.
Those are right up there with squatted trucks and donks. While I love that people are tinkering with their cars, I don't understand what draws them toward those styles.
Their ride and their money though so more power to them.

I am glad that they like it.

I am a function_before_form guy, so I find this kind of mod revolting.
Any mod done to a vehicle, should make it perform better, easier, or safer.
Any mod done to a vehicle should NEVER make it less safe or more difficult to operate.
I liken this to the motorcycle guy who has ape hangers, a fat rear tire, no front brake, a hand shift, and a foot clutch.

I want to hate stuff like this, I really do. But, I can't. Whenever I see someone driving some goofy slammes and useless car, I see someone who is having more fun than just about anyone on the roads. That hellcat owner isnt having as much fun. That Corvette? Being driven like a cavalier.
As far as safety goes, I would say something, but I know the trash I've driven. Re cently.
In reply to Mndsm :
I don't think many people have ever had more fun than Richard Hammond in a Hellcat in Italy. That whole shiw has me pricing Hellcats which is probably a var I would love and hate to extremes on both sides.
In reply to AnthonyGS (Forum Supporter) :
I'm not sure it would fit in your garage & leave room for the Miata. They're pretty wide cars.
In reply to Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) :
I think LS Miata is probably far more my style.
Too low. Unsafe to drive on the roads. Can't go over railroad crossings... Completely impractical.
I feel like there was just an article/discussion here a couple months ago about stance/boso/bippu stuff.....and now another?
I mean, each to his own regarding automotive style and fads, but is there really much more to say about it? I'm pretty sure stancenation already has it covered, lol....
Donks are functionally less dumb than extreme camber (I mean, some of them get some serious treadwidth on the pavement!). So let's hit that next week here on GRM ;)

To do it right you need extreme camber and 8" wide tires stretched over 10-12" wide wheels
In reply to bashr52 :
speaking of extreme camber
In reply to bashr52 :
Gross. That poor Miata did nothing bad enough to deserve that fate.
Looks like a toy that's been stepped on and broken.
Yesterday on FB I commented on a short video of a car that was so slammed and cambered that it couldn't be driven. It was high centered on what looked like smooth pavement and 4 dudes kept shoving it while the tires spun helplessly. I opined that the car and the person who modded it were stupid for which I was called an "old and out of touch cone dodger with no fashion sense" (Apparently the picture of me in cargo shorts incensed the poor child who lives for that "low lyfe")
