This is oddly soothing. In the early days of the pandemic--feels like a million years ago--a buddy built a model during a FB Live. It was one of the ships from Space 1999!, I believe. But it was more than just watching him build a model. He chatted about his love of sci-fi, life stuff, model tips, etc. Again, it was oddly soothing.

I owned a Civic vaguely like that.  Mine was a white CX with blue vinyl seats, the last year for vinyl seats in a Civic and the last year for manual steering in a Civic.  The factory SOHC engine was replaced with a DOHC unit from an Integra LS, effectively doubling the horsepower in one fell swoop.  What a ball to drive

I wouldn't mind having a model of that car, and a few others that I have owned, as MORE tangible reminders of " the good times ".
