The Motorsport overlooked in this publication is Vintage Go Kart Racing. I particpate in VKA, Vintage Karting Association, one of many across the country. 1967 Rupp Chaparral with twin Westbend 820 stroked to 894

Very Cool.

As for the price of the other vintage racing; you can find cars in the $5000 to $8000 range all the time.

As for karts, vintage karts are great fun because they slide all around.......cool stuff.

We actually did something on vintage karts over at Classic Motorsports: Why you should make a vintage kart your next project.

In reply to David S. Wallens :

I missed that article, it has been six years, the sport is growing and vintage karts like mine have brought 20 grand plus on BAT, maybe time to revisit the sport. Thank you for your reply
