The supercar lineage going back to the Lamborghini Miura makes the midengine layout the holy grail for car nerds. If you stick that massive drivetrain in the middle of a vehicle rather than hanging it off either end, the chassis will be better balanced and thus outperform the pack, right? General M…

I've always wanted a V6 Formula. Never cared for the body kit on the GT.

If video games are any indication, this thing was a hoot in Forza 4. I painted "Ford GT" stripes on mine and called it a "Fiordo GT Kit Car" laugh

My wife had one of those back when they were new.  Her dad swapped in a 5 speed.  Guy in a 3/4 ton truck ran over her.  There was a wreck, and the traffic was being routed around it.  He went around the people being detoured on the shoulder and t boned her going about 50 mph.   Surprising she was not killed.  He would probably have gone to prison if his father were not a constable that did the accident report himself.

I owned an 87 and an 88 GT at the same time so was in a position to compare the two. The suspension on the 88 was way better than the older models.

I did up a 300 bhp engine for it (turbo, stroked etc.) and drove it for twenty years as my daily driver.  Pic of old and the replacement.

Had an '84 Indy Pace Car.

Most comfortable seats I've ever had. The Pace Car got Lear-Siegler seats and even my Volvo 850 wasn't as good.
