Long story short, I was doing another trans fluid drain and fill cycle on my V50 and I noticed what appears to be a slight cut in the line from the pump to the cooler. It's only maybe half an inch long, not deep, not showing any sign of being breached, but it's 17 years old, so replacement seems like a good idea. The only problem is that I can't get the clip holding the line to the cooler to release. It appears that you just squeeze the small flat tabs inward, but they aren't moving, and there's no way to get a tool on them that I can figure out. FWIW, I know the new clips are green; this one is all black, if that makes any difference. Is there some special tool for these, or some super secret trick for coaxing them off?
