I've got a line on a set of BBS RC wheels from the 20th anniversary Jetta for what seemes to be a great deal. They still have the center caps. No way to tell if they are straight. The seller gives no E36 M3s. An auction. Right now they are at $210 for the set of 4 on (probably) ancient Goodyear F1s.
How much is too much considering the question mark of condition?
This is the style I'm talking about.
I had aftermarket RCs on my 99.5 Golf. Great looking wheel and they weren't cheap then. I suspect they're fairly valuable to the right person. Question is, what are they worth to you?
If the wheels are straight and the finish is good, I'd pay $600 for the wheels, with tires being a free bonus.
I could never find them when I had my MK4's and always ended up with something else
I think they are "worth" more than $600 if that picture is accurately depicting their condition but that's where you could flip them quickly.
I paid $400 for a set of BBS RC306 (drilled 5x112 for Audi and mk6+ vw) 5 or so years ago for ones that were in rough shape and needed to be re-finished. I would agree that $600 is a good price on them.
In reply to chandler :
That's not the actual wheel. The actual pics of the wheels did not resize well. They ended up looking 16bit.
A *mint* set will go for some decent money, 1k ish with tires. These have been beat to E36 M3 by the kids, so watch for bends and/or lots of wheel weights as a tell tale for abuse. I have bought sold them in the 500-700 range in "ok" condition. $200 ish it's a no brainer.
