Awesome sleuthing, I'm impressed. I have found that the owner of the warehouse owns the car, he also owns Hansen Balk, the steel heat treating business across the street.
It just needs an 81 bumper and some love.

Hmmm the torque rating is confusing as 74 is listed at 275 while the 76 and 77 ones are listed at 270. Same compression ratio though. 74 l48 was 195 hp.
I want this so I can have a car from the year I was born to go with the one from the year I graduated. Both were pathetic years for the automobile what’s a fella to do.
Plus my wife likes the C3, and it has AC so I could make a cruiser out of it.

At least you’re not working with ‘80 and ‘98.
In reply to akylekoz :
You mean the rear bumper right? With the built in spoiler. Cause the front would require a full swap as the bumper is flared to the wheel arches.
I’d stick with the 74 body it was actually the first year for that rear bumper. Consider maybe something along the lines of the last Baldwin motion corvette that year.

LOL, I have a 80 Datsun, and (most of) a 98 Lexus. I'm not in love with either. (I'm an 81/99)
I'd love to have a 80 RX7 and a 98 Supra TT though.
One is somewhat beyond my means though. LOL
