What the title says, was there ever a car, trim, model, anything that only came in colors? That means no white, silver, gray, or black at all. I'm drawing a blank.

1990 Miata (first year) came in Red, Blue or White and 56.5% were red. Silver was added in second half of the year.
Production numbers
Red: 29195
White: 12420
Blue: 6540
Silver: 3481
Total: 51636

Those are great, but they are just additional colors available on models that come in gray scale. The AMC Big Bad colors were the same way. You could still get a 70 Mach 1 or a 69 AMX in White.
Hmm. In 1992, the first year of the Viper, they only came in red apparently. Does that count? They added more colors including black in 1993.
I just came across this on Wiki.
Model from the Big 3 that sold 3764 units in 1989???
... For the 1989 model year, interior leather colors were ginger or bordeaux. Available exterior colors were yellow, red, or cabernet. The bordeaux interior was only available with the cabernet exterior, both of which were dropped in 1990 when black and white exterior colors were added along with a black leather interior.

That's a myth.
The "cheaper 'cause it's black" only applies to the brass parts of the car. Eariler cars, more brass. Later cars, more painted steel.
You could get Ts in many colors.

I suppose that's technically correct for 89, but the 90's are visually identical and came in white and black.

Yeah I never realized the TC didn't have black and white for '89

Good point. There's a number of super cars that only came in one or two colors. 360 Stradale, 430 Scuderia, Veyron SS, etc etc.
Anything more pedestrian?

1993 Mustang Cobra Rs only came in red. They only made about a hundred of them though.
ProDarwin said:C4 Corvette Grand Sport only came with one paint option
Ah, yes! The C4 version that is true! Also all the Pace Car editions.
In reply to codrus (Forum Supporter) :
Same with the 00 Cobra R's (and 95's, but in white). Still though, like the Corvettes it's a really specific trim/model that shares most of it's looks with another version (93 Cobra, 96 Corvettes all had the same engine, 99/01 Cobra, etc) that did come in a gray scale.
Still, getting closer!

Depends on the year. "The Ford Model T, built from October 1908 through 1927, was available in colors other than black in its first five and its last two years of production. The available colors were green, bright red, dark blue, brown, maroon and gray."
