2012 Golf R. ~425hp to the crank is what I am told, I did not build the car but the tuner said I am there with what I know the car has in it.

Chopped a STI the other day and when I decided to show my tail lights from a further view so I shifted into 6th I went from 4500rpm to 7200 REALLY fast and did not gain speed.

OK, I need a clutch.

Car is fine if I stay out of the boost and I am nursing it through the winter.

Learn me a clutch that will take 500-600hp and is streetable. This is my daily driver.

I know that I will upgrade the power and I also sit in bumper to bumper traffic about 45 mins to an hour a day. I do not want a thunder thigh on my left leg.

Additionally, what about my flywheel? When I replaced my Cayman clutch I kept the dual mass FW for driveability. Will a light weight FW kill my DD?

This car is a DD and hopefully a 1x.xx bracket drag racer. I have been hunting 12.5s with it but I think it has more.

What are my options?

I run a ECS stage 2 clutch kit in my Mk7 Gti. It comes a complete kit with single mass flywheel as well as the throw out bearing.

At the time I ordered BFI and such were all on back order and a good $500 more.

I've been happy with it. Rev's up quicker and have had no issues in the 10k I have on it.

I also did the fancy aftermarket rear main seal plate while i was in there and a Diesel Geek shifter.

They make a stage 4 which appears to be the power levels you want to hold. I have no input as it's probably apples to orange.
