For just $70,000, this twin-engine Geo Metro can be yours.
“Wait a minute,” you say. “You mean for no more than the cost of a lightly used Cayman S, I can have an aluminum-bodied Geo with not one but two 6G72 Mitsubishi engines?”
Yep, your dream has come true.

This picture has to be one of my all-time favorites to ever be included in a for-sale ad.
However, according to the ad the tarp is not included in the sale.

That's just mentioned so there's a solid negotiating point. I bet a shrewd dealmaker could get that tarp thrown in.
JG, I sent this to you in confidence. Now I have to bid against everybody else on the forum!? Not cool man.
I think one of my favorite Pro/Cons on this add is "The aluminum sheet body is durable , but could use a buff and does stain if an animal urine's on it...I wipe it down to keep a sheen with baby oil"
In reply to JG Pasterjak :
Tell me more about this tarp, please.
Is the front bumper a pickup truck bed extender?
Shouldn't this be more like $700?
Dang 70k is crazy for this pile of E36 M3 parts flying in close proximity.

did my guy just use a spare kirkey as an air scoop?
If anyone can explain what an "ass right in a lock situation" is, I'd appreciate it.

It's a nice tarp. The kind of tarp you only bring out when company comes over.

The aluminum body says "already sold" all over it! I'm surprised that it doesn't include a Dodge Daytona-style downturned nose to cover the front end awesomeness.

I'm not exactly sure what happened here, but I know it involved a lot of beer.
Sent this to my son and within minutes his reply was, "70k is kind of crazy. I feel like we could probably build it for less than that. I wonder if my buddy still has his Mazda 323 hatch." That's my Boy ! Makes a father proud.

The seller explains: "Light throttle in the Geo is a single-engine car's part throttle. The Geo's part throttle is a single-engine car's half throttle. And so on."
Oooh, I'll play too!: "Wishful thinking of the Geo owner is like a full-on LSD and mescaline-inspired hallucination of an ordinary gearhead."
In reply to drock25too :
Yep, the kids will be alright.

Unless I'm mistaken, he didn't even use the GOOD 6g72 either. Those look like single cam heads to me. Come on now, who doesn't want 8 cams over overcomplicated japanese fury stuffed into a Geo Metro using Harbor Freights finest hammers?

I was all in but that's a deal breaker.
Check out all the aerodynamic slots in that bodywork, just like an Aston Martin Valkyrie or Praga Bohema!
Hey now! Y'all don't go painting me with this brush! I may be crazy but... umm...err..Well, I guess it all does all look frighteningly familiar doesn't it? In my defense(if there is any at this juncture) Mine still just looks like the car it was, not an abandoned thanksgiving turkey carcass in Reynolds Wrap. Had I imagined such constructions could be worth this kind of coin I would have set up a small assembly line aiming for volume!
BUT seriously, I'm not sure where he's going but fairly sure where I'm headed. Maybe I'll just focus on my 1975, 2002tii?
