Either way, he's besmirching the good name of that catastrophic failure waiting to happen. That's MR. Heap to Spool. Actually.... that's a good name for Home School Prom Queen.... Mr. Heap, or Sir Heap.

Pat, I think what spin_out is tryin to say is that he doesn't understand why, in the avatar, you have the front tires in the water box when real drag cars are RWD.
I know, I know. One second head start and tell me to shift when passing. Yeah, yeah.
spin_out wrote: Your avatar looks like the Shadow, but you won with the Aries. So I assume there is special pride in the Shadow.?
Gotcha...yes, that Shadow and I have been together a long time. It was a street car, then a modified street car, then a drag car, then a challenge car, then a multi use race car, then a parts car and now a challenge car again. It is by far my favorite.

Yes, some have cars that are fast enough to run out of track before they run out of gears....

My car is annoying... too fast to trap 4th, but i'm obviously not hitting my 155ish top speed in this thing
And then it's geared too short for land speed racing. ARG.

Hope you don't mind driving 1000 miles down to Florida with huge pink lettering on the side of the car that says "Home School Prom Queen." Miata drivers might get ideas.

Are you gonna get those decals made? My sticker person can't do it right now....
I'm talking to a guy that knows a guy that knows Spool and stuff. If you want to send me a file of those other ones you had made months ago, that'd be pretty super and funny.

Lemme see if I can get the vector.

LOL what have I gotten myself into!
In reply to Spoolpigeon:
A whole heap of sexual misadventures ending with you purchasing a truckload of vasoline....

Your rash from last year cleared up, you don't have anything to worry about.
Here's the deal: If Spool finishes below me in Home School Prom Queen (wow now THAT'S quite the phrase), then he changes his name to "Spoonpigeon."
If Spoonpigeon beats me in Swank Force One, i'll maybe change my name to Spank Force One.
Or was that a reference to how hard i'm going to burn you on the big end of the quarter mile?
In reply to Swank Force One:
I haven't agreed to this deal yet. Isn't my name tarnished enough just being associated with you? Besides, you built HSPQ and I have a feeling you might have stacked the odds in preparing the car. Lol
You'll be more than welcome to give the car a good once over before we leave. This is actually encouraged.
Plus remember, you were going to be on hand a day before we left to get it reasonably tuned.
If i said it was going to make more power than Swank Force One, i'd be lying. But it should make more than enough power to scare a wuss like you.
