I remember when we had one as a press car--back when they were new. It was pretty sweet.
I always liked the ad showing the automatic ride height lowering at speed.
...wouldn't have had the guts to try it, though.
I had one! Great car!
My dad sold me his when he went to get another one.
Replacing the air-ride with struts is an option, for people like me who don't like it :)

Wrong. Most Volvo wheels will fit depending on offset. Also the 2012 Ford Focus and the Transit Connect are 5x108 so any wheels that fit them will work.
If the car dies and you part it out, send me the electric fan and associated wiring. It will move a metric butt-ton of air- way more than any aftermarket e-fan- great for hotted up engines and engines that run hot like rotaries.

Let's not be too literal. If you compare it to the selection of 5x4.5 wheels for the Mustang, the number of choices in 5x4.25 is miniscule.
Love the car.Always wanted to hot rod one. Also was looking for a fan for my 2011 challenge car and thanks to you guys I found out the Mark viii has one of the best fans around.Who knew.

Sadly, the prices on Mark VIII fans are going up ($100+). An e-fan from a 3.8L first-gen Taurus is almost as good for cheaper ($50-60). I'm installing a Taurus e-fan and Koyorad radiator into my turbo FC once I find a replacement engine. Make sure you upgrade the alternator- these beasts need at least 30amps to run.

Good info to know. Now I am curious, could you use the 03-04 Cobra rear hubs? or are they different enough?
Duke, the Mark VIIIs are cool cars, kinda like to have one myself.

I almost bought one instead of the Eldorado, upon reflection, the Mark VIII would have been the easier/cheaper to maintain, oh well...
Commander Cody: Hot Rod Lincoln

i don't think it's enough to hot rod a lincoln, i think it needs to be a rat . rat rodding luxury cars is the best.

If I remember right, Kranefuss-Haas built that sometime between 96 and 98, but it was never raced. They did test it least once, I know.

Please do not raise this car in any way ever. You can drive a block to go around that speed bump.
