That is really cool. I heard someone makes a kit to convert Factory 5 Cobra replicas to electric, too. That would make an awesome autocross car.
You're right, the black roof works. It's surprising how many Fieros have wound up with electric drive trains.

Lots of electric conversions keep the OE transmission. They mate the the electric motor to the trans using an adapter plate, and usually get rid of the clutch.
They don't use automatics for many, many obvious reasons.
Sweet, I like it. I wonder how far it can go on a charge? Also wonder how much the set up weighs in comparison to the engine that used to be there.
