So just had this text exchange. She's an hour plus away so I can't actually investigate things, but what could cause this to happen?

Heater core leak would be hot, right?

Clogged AC drain? Happened to me before but it was my '89 D350. Cool water came out of one of the floor vents onto my buddy's foot.

Air cond condensation? In my work van(ford transit connect) the ac will have condensation and drip in the drivers floor.

That was my next thought. Ok, that's an easy one.

She always runs the AC on full blast, so yea, definitely could be condensation during an hour trip today, where it's 85 and 90% humidity.

Sunroof drain would be my first guess. AC would be second. She'd know if it was the heater core.

Plugged condensate drain.  Sunroof drain would be on the outside edge of the cabin.
