I found this burned out car in the forest and I can't seem to ID it. Its got a solid rear axle with a three link set-up and a V6. Beyond that, I got nothing. Images hotlinked. Cause burned-out-car.

Good guess, but no. Also not a Saturn Vue, or any kind of Hyundai, Kia or Suzuki I Googled. Have to admit this one's got me stumped.
I'm going to agree with ls1fiero.
Look at the cut-outs for the taillights, door handles; the wheels, windows, etc.

Yup. That rear quarter window is the giveaway.
I like this game. Can someone here choose a car, take it to the woods, burn it and post pictures?
I would be curious how it got there. Obviously stolen, any bodies there? Any other cars around? Hmmm.
reminds me of this thread on another form

If it is anything like here, insurance money. Lots of people get a new car, make a few payments, decide they don't like making payments on it, quit making those payments, get it near repo time, then drive it to the top of some remote mountain, and torch it. They then claim it stolen and collect the cash..... That is one reason why my comp coverage was through the roof. The rest is high from the idjits that drive old POFS's without insurance.

Yup taillight holes and fender flares give that one away.
Definitely a Sorento. As for cause...I would say insurance job. Thieves arent usually so meticulous about burning a car so completely in a remote location. Also it sure looks like a lot of accelerant was used on the inside of the vehicle.
