What can you tell me about this rim?

I found some cheap CL rims for the FR-S. The add says 17 x 8 Motegi in the correct 5 x 100 bolt pattern. The stock rim is 17x 7 with a +48 offset. If it actually is a 17 x 8, the backspacing measurement should be 133.6mm or about 5 5/16th. First, is my math correct? Second, what can you tell me from this Craigslist pic?

Why would the backspacing have to be anything? (Other than just eyeballing it to have a rough idea)

can you bring your car and test fit the wheel?   I did that once.

the backspacing should be marked on the inside of the rim. ask the seller to find it and give it to you.
