You could get it in the USA. Is there a car you can honestly say that if it was offered here? I would have probably bought a Fiat Panda if it was offered here cause I really like the 500 and almost bought one but the lack of rear door and the looks kinda stopped me.

Edit: This is new cars that you could afford.

Are we talking ACTUAL budget? or 'fantasy'..... I'd KILL for an RS6 Avant, M5 Estate, you get the idea. Other than that, some of those kickass hot hatches, Renaultsport Clio, some of the other wild E36 M3 Jeremy Clarkson sinks in the channel.... I'd rock those in a second.

Actually afford like if it was here you would put your money down on.

If we're talking things I could actually afford:

I'm gonna have to go with Peugeot 208 GTI.

Or the Subaru Legacy DIESEL 2.0 Wagon with 6MT...

I thought for a couple years there was a diesel WRX in the UK as well, but it's not on Subaru's UK site now so I guess not. That would be up on my list as well. IIRC it had 300lb-ft of tq, 6MT, and got near 40mpg highway....

I'm going to take a pass on "JDM" stuff, since I don't think there's anything in my affordability range "JDM" that is significantly better than what I can buy in the US currently.

Current production or cases of importing it would cost 10x what its worth? For in town use, I would drive the E36 M3 out of a Trabant. As a matter of fact, if somebody offered me one straight trade for the Yugo I wouldn't think twice.

New stuff, I cant think of anything, even if I had money to throw around.

Diesel Wrangler Pickup. Preferably a TJ unlimited Rubicon with a Scrambler cab. The new one is the J8. I can buy one for the Egyptian military (how is THAT working out?) but not for myself.

I think the Trabant is one of the few cars thats worse than a Yugo, lol

They are everywhere in Berlin.

I'd probably buy another Coyote engined Mustang with Brembo brakes and set it up as a dual-duty DD and Track day car.

I'd like to think a Ford Falcon isn't an entirely unrealistic answer. And I'm 100% serious. I like my cars to have 4 doors, manual transmissions, rear wheel drive, and be capable of badass, hot, nasty speed. Outside of BMW, I'm not left with many options right now.

Ford C-Max

Not that 5 seat Hybrid that they sell here but rather the version they promoted at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show.
They had examples down on the show floor , they were open and you could crawl around inside them. It seemed like a perfect fit for my wife and I, we both really liked it. It would be our choice as we knew we were soon to replace a car. We also looked forward to supporting Ford.
After numerous delays to market for the C-Max, we bought a Mazda5.
Sure enough, when it was finally released 2 years later, the whole thing was reduced in size, a hybrid was required, and no third row. We really liked the 5+2 design of the original.
In other markets (like The UK), they get the C-Max we were promised as The Grand C-Max.

Hey, I owned a Panda! Almost 45mpg from gasoline, room for people, it's like a go cart around town, but not much room for luggage, and a bit slow if you wanted to speed on the highway... ( I never really liked to take her past 130kph, and only to pass a Semi)

Anyhoo, I think I'd really like to have my wife's Audi A4 wagon in the states. IIRC we didn't get the 2.0TDI in the A4 wagons (or something like that). I've gotta be honest, I'm pretty impressed with the car as a daily driver/road tripper.
