I'm looking for some new seats for the Barracuda since the foam on the stock seats has disintegrated to dust gathering under the the seat bottom and I'm now sitting on springs.
The interior of the car is red and I'd like to keep the seats matching if possible since the rest of the interior is red and I'd rather not have to recover what ever I end up getting.
So, I'm looking for a set of red bucket seats in leather or pleather that are from a coupe so I can get the rear seat access. I'd prefer manual seats so I don't have to wire in the power controls.
My first thoughts are:
S197 Mustang
late model GTO
BMW 3 series
Anyone have some other ideas?

How about Honda S2000? I'd love to have a pair of these in my Mini, but because I am cheap and ran into a great deal, I have Saab 9-3 seats.
Focus SVT had black leather/Red insert seats. They're really comfy and can be had for cheap.

RX-8 also had some red/black seats.
My '85 GLH had red seats, and the worst-looking steering wheel in history. I replaced mine with an aftermarket Shelby wheel.
The picture above wasn't mine.

Mazdaspeed Miatas also came with red/black seats.

Lots of Corvettes. C4, C5.
Boxster, 911, 1993 Miata LE.
And, duh, I sat on red seats while driving this to work today. It's like driving a couch.
Fox body Fords in the 80s
C4 vettes.
It's an A body 1966 Barracuda
It looks just like this only with no AC vents just yet.
ScreaminE, Do you know if those are manual seats in the Foucs?
I'd rebuild the originals, modern seats in 1960s cars almost always look terrible. Year One (and probably other sources) sell reproduction seat foamd for 1966 Barracudas.
E28 seats are awesome in anything, red exists.
I used Lincoln mk8 seats in the duster.
And before you get the classic auto air kit, think twice.

This man speaks the truth. The reds will not match, the pattern won't match the back seat or door panels and they will stick out like an infection. Unless the whole interior is modified to suit modern seats they just look wrong.
Also I want to see pics of the car! Two of my favorite things. First gen barracudas and red interiors! I might swoon from the awesomeness.

I was given a white Omni with that same color int.
Jumper...
Here are a few pictures. Right now the front end is disassembled and I have a 340 and a 273 sitting on engine stands trying to decide which one to build.

The first and second gen RX-7's were offered with a red/maroon interior. I'm actually having a hard time finding a decent one without it...

Very cool project! Whatever you do, don't break the rear window.
What about finding some nice seats that are comfortable to you and either buying the replacement covers in the red that matches your car or have an upholstery shop do it. That way you dont end up with either a red that doesnt match, an uncomfortable/out of place seat or a combination of the two.

This was mine, though you can't see the red seats in this photo. Such an 80's interior color.
