As said above, prelude seats can be very comfortable. Unfortunately they were too tall and wide to work well in my camaro.

MkI MR2 seats are really nice and do pop up in junk yards from time to time. They seem to be made of some unearthly wearing material as well as they're usually in pretty good nick.

Amen. The Porsche Recaros are awesome. Who needs more than two adjustments when the seats are so perfect to begin with?
They came in 911s, 924s and 944s, from about the mid-1970s until, well, gosh, I think to the late 1980s. I'm not sure if they came in the 928. Many came in cloth and some 924s even had vinyl. If it were me (and I've thought this through) I'd buy anything with good mechanicals and have them re-covered. Preferable in the "Porsche" logo twill they had in the 1980s. Yum!

What color are your 626GT seats (if Nicksta doesn't want them)?

Tan.
But now that i think about it, the metal plate in the back of one (the thing underneath the vinyl) is a bit bent. Probably easily fixable, but i didn't care and i don't have back seats anyways.
