Right now I'm obsessed with these:
Aston DB9 Volante w/manual trans
That one is in fact perfect.
Coupes can be had under $40k now, as well, but I'm obsessed with the convertibles.

I've just agreed to buy another TR-6. After having a couple that had many needs, I've found one that is a nice, solid keeper! (not my car pictured, but you get the idea)

I actually think these are a little over priced right now but man are they pretty.
Its so new money but I also want a CGT Bentley for DD use. They are getting really cheap if you buy at auction. Like sub 50K in some cases.
'93 FD R1, in competition yellow mica, low miles, stock. They only made 350 and most of them have been turned into Fast & Furious clones, so yeah, it doesn't exist.

I did not know this group existed. This is going to be very dangerous for me...

I drove mine into work today. It's every bit as incredible as you think it's going to be.

Jim Thwaite's group is better as the cars are more obscure and there are goats:

Same color combo as pic?
Excellent!
On my list as well but it has to wait for now.
^^^^ Nah, the one I'm buying is a nice midnight blue with black interior. It also has big white "shelby-like" stripes that will likely have to go. The stripes look good, but I'm a "run silent, run deep" kinda guy. Stripes shout a bit too much for my tastes.
That BRG with saddle interior would be my first choice, but the blue looks great too!
I pretty much have it - my TR250 - but it would kind of be nice to get a 63 Lark R2 - 2 door coupe.
WOW! Finally made it off the new reader list!

Goats!? I'm there!
Grand National with enough work to hit 350hp or Monte SS with a ZZ4 crate motor and manual trans swap.
I'm itching for a cool car project. I think my Galant VR4 and my Legacy GT wagon are cool, but mostly because people don't think they are cool- but its really cool when you run into someone who knows what they are and thinks they are cool. Is that cool? Probably not. To most people, if you have to explain why it's cool, it's not cool. So I think an early 60's Lincoln Continental would be cool. A low, loud and menacing Continental that looks like it would mug you in an alley. That sounds cool.

Goats, in sweaters! It started as a little joke on the other obscure cars group (because just because they only made that chevy cobalt in that color for 2 years only DOES NOT mean its obscure)
Earlier in the thread someone mentioned a Pao....I'll just leave this here

Damn, that interior is gorgeous. I can understand your obsession.
The sub-$40K car is an automatic, but still... if it were a year or so newer, it'd be damn tempting. and boy would a car like that get me weird looks at the office...
With a 5.0 Coyote crate engine and an appropriate 6 speed auto.

Find the widest wheels that can fit the car and the hub caps, and a menacing exhaust out of one pipe.
