Finally got the pan fill adapter on the new deep transmission pan on my Bronco to stop leaking! Now all I have to do is fix the leaking wheel cylinder and she is back on the road and can park on the driveway! I can then have my '67, '77 and '88 cars parked in a row.
Also, after getting a break in the rain and mowing/trimming my Stihl blower started running like crap. After checking the plug and the choke function I pulled the carb, disassembled, cleaned and blew it out, reassembled and she runs great! Always nice when a fix actually works...
Oh yeah I got the leaking oil pan and clutch replaced on ClifFord
Stared at the rear suspension lying on the garage floor, briefly thought about disassembling it, answered the phone and said "Sure. I'd love to come over and grill some steaks. Thanks."
And that was that.

Fabricated a section of drip rail for the 66 Mustang and welded it in place.
Made a slight amount of headway in cleaning the shop, but it's going to take another twenty-seven years to finish.

Took the clutch slave off the mini to rebuild, realized I need snap ring pliers which I don't have and opened another beer.

Oh! Photos please! That would be interesting to see.
Made a phone call to a body shop. If I went 400miles west, I'd be on the opposite side of the planet from my cars.
Worked on restoring the grill for my 67 Camaro. Disassembled, soda blasted, straightened aluminum trim, sanded trim, repaired cracks in plastic grill & started polishing trim.

Well, currently the shop that my project is parked in is my main project... So today I added some speakers so that being there will be a bit more enjoyable.
Oh, and I actually got the IAT sensor installed in the Hairball. Probably a 3-minute job, but I managed to stretch it out to roughly two hours, and three beers...
I love being on vacation!!!
Drove it (I'm down to one car right meow)
Eyeballed the FM butterfly brace, keep waffling about my current level of autocross classing boned-ness vs how often I actually AX the damn thing...

The weekend saw a little more progress on the garage attic floor, and the completion of running an Ethernet cable from the house's basement through the conduit I cleverly buried during the electrical work.
Tie kite string to cotton ball. Shop vac to pull it from house out to the shop. Use kite string to pull stronger cable-pulling cord, use cord to pull Ethernet cable.
After being buried for almost two years, the conduit was still dry, so the cotton ball came through fine. I still used direct-burial rated Ethernet cable, so that should be sound for some time to come...
The other project was myself, who finally went mountain biking on actual singletrack for the first time in longer than I can remember today.
I worked on the header rail for my M.G. Midget's top. I had to drill out the rivets and then wire-wheeled rust off the top surface of it.

..and the Mini finally has a functioning stereo...
While digging through the cluster-berk that is the wiring in this car, I discovered an antenna lead... there is one on the roof of the car, so I hooked it up... but no radio reception... oh well... but I tested the CD player and that works.
Graham at Heritage Garage wasn't kidding when he said the wiring was really bad... Ugh... I guess I can add a new wiring harness to the to-do list if I decide to keep this thing.

Got it started for the first time since I bought it. It hasn't run at all in over a year.

Parked the Alfa 164 after the coolant hose from the throttle body to the reservoir began leaking. The connection on the reservoir tank is cracking as well. I've ordered a new tank and some silicone vacuum and coolant hoses. Since I don't need the Alfa on the road for a while, I'm going to take the opportunity to get some other work done under the hood- change spark plugs, change O2 sensor, change oil, change fuel filter, and replace the old fuel injectors with more modern ones from a Volvo S80. I might also get the valve covers and intake plenum powder coated and/or install bigger intake runners, but that depends on how much time and money I've got when the other stuff is done.

I made some beer to drink while working on my project in the future.
I installed an el cheapo coolant gauge and bought an ORV sticker for the Jeep. No tags or insurance but I can go offroad!

I'm now sitting in a hotel room in Horseheads, NY for the Vintage Festival at Watkins Glen. 230 miles in the Mini. The car ran well and even managed almost 40 mpg. However, I took ostly highways and the car is loud. My ears are ringing.
I didn't do E36 M3; again.
Cursed the piece of E36 M3 previous owner and found another small spot of rust. Removed un needed crap, started harness repair, cleaned the interior, and re-located the coolant overflow tank. Planned bumper dumper that doesn't require cutting frame.
And decided that mndsm will probably get my red car if he doesn't find a b2200 first.

FINALLY got the Strongarm hatch supports put on. Finished sanding then rubbed Hope's 100% tung oil on my wooden Nardi shift knob and put the Grant wood steering wheel (Nardi knock-off) back on (dried from the day before). I also finally started to wrap the OBX 4-1 header with DEI titanium exhaust wrap.
I just realized my whole post is just name-dropping. Somebody sponsor me. AE86 cross country tour starts soon.
I thought about it a lot.

Got more plywood into the attic floor, and fought off a spider big enough to give me pause about being there.
I'll leave the term "arachnophobe" to people who cease to function at all in the presence of any spider, but I DO NOT LIKE SPIDERS, and I will not claim to retain any kind of calm or dignity in their presence.
I spent a long time wiping the remains off my glove in the backyard grass...
In other bummer news, I think I'm coming to terms with the idea that I'm going to have to notch a bunch of plywood to fit funny areas of the attic floor that I was originally just going to file under "Hey, it's an attic. At least it's not just joists and fiberglass all over..."
