Sure, Santa Claus pilots his iconic sled on Christmas Eve, but what does he drive the other 364 days of the year?
Do you think Santa prefers to keep a simple two- or three-car collection in a small garage, or do you take him as more Jay Leno-style collector, warehouse and all?

J.A. had a good point: If Santa does have a good-sized collection, he certainly has plenty of elves to help maintain the fleet.

A 73 Plymouth Valiant.......................in 1984 I was leaving a girlfriends house and Santa pulled up next to me in a green 72 Plymouth Valiant 4 door.

Clearly Santa would use a Riley Elf.....
In reply to wspohn :
Best answer! But incomplete, he would obviously have a fleet of Elfs (Elves?).

When he's still up there at the Pole at work, he rocks a Sherpa. But when he vaycays in Florida or the Med, he has the elves deliver his SL Merc to him.
This one is easy. He goes from the red sled to the lead sled, also in red:
Instead of that plain jane M1 he was drive the BMW concept car.
he drives a mercedes benz AMG GTS with mans best friend
I like to think his summer home has a Fiat Jolly at the ready.

This was used at the South Pole rather than the North one, but it is still pretty 'cool'
Otherwise: VW Dasher; Benz Blitzen; Mercury Comet; TVR (or BMW, or Daimler) Vixen, Tartan Prancer, Haima Cupid... and something diesel.
A sled, man - you know, a sled? A real charp chort - lowered to the ground, twice pipes, candy apple red, button top ......ooo, clean!
Naturally, the Antarctic Snow Cruiser.
That's why it has never been found since it was left there - Santa took it and stashed it in his garage under the ice. Plenty of room for presents.
(true story, it was driven halfway across the US before it was loaded on a ship to go to the Antarctic...)
For some reason, I always envisioned jolly old St Nick cruising around in a TR3 or Morgan when not piloting his sleigh.
I definitely feel like Santa would have at least one of every car mentioned so far.
There's no way he doesn't have a collection, right?
