What is this car?

Finally came across one I can not ID.  What is it besides ugly?

Yep, looks like a Kelmark with an unfortunate suspension setup.

To me this is one of the few VW kits that look decent enough to not be embarrassing.

I had a kitcar magazine from the mid 1980s that I read about fifty jillion times.

That looks like about 25% of the kit advertisers in the magazine, in the back where ads were sold by the column-inch.

In short, Kelmark GT or one of the many, many, MANY similar fly by night versions.
