Vw diesel sport wagon, it's turbocharged so it meets the power requirements if mods are considered. It exceeds the gas mileage requirement x2. Some come with the wrong kind of transmission like automatics. Wagon and cheaper than budget and more mpg cancel out those other less important boxes

Or forget about newer cars altogether, there are so many more better older choices.

I loved it so much, I bought two. It's absolutely the best all-around car I've ever had, and I've owned a lot of vehicles.

Two things... I know of a great IS-F and will work with a fellow GRMer. Also, ditto on the best car I've owned, and that's saying a lot considering there is an M5 and a couple Porsches in my list.

Second, I'm debating replacing the IS-F with an Ecoboost Ford Flex.

Both meet your requirements in some form or fashion.

It doesn't appear anyone has mentioned the Benz CLS550, but it would seem to meet most of the requirements, would it not? I guess the mpg is off a bit, but no more than some of the other ideas (Hemi, V10 Audi). They've always seemed like an intriguing option to me.

Also, a couple people have mentioned the Genesis Sedan R-Spec, which isn't a bad idea either.

By the way, I've never looked at Audis until coming into this thread, that V10 S6 seems like a riot.

Is a Golf R too small?:

I picked up an E90 335xi through BMW's C.P.O. program not too long ago. It's a 4-door, auto, with AWD. Fully loaded with bi-xenons, heated seats, sat-nav, etc.

The car had 23k miles on the clock. I paid $26k.

The only problem with "X-Drive" models is the horrible damping. Crazy amounts of rebound. Between the dampers and the run flats, the car had a horrid ride.

Fixed that with a set of Koni yellows and proper tires. Great daily driver for NYC.

Wow, that is a lot of car for the money. what was the age and mileage when you bought it?

I want to like the E90, I really do. After all, I've owned an E30, an E36, and an E46, so it's the next logical step, right? But it's just.... meh. STyling and interior just don't do it for me, I like the Audis much better. Besides, I'd really prefer something bigger. I should drive one, I'd probably love it.

The car is a 2010. I bought it CPO with 23k miles in Oct 2015. Paid just $26k.

They had dozens and dozens of used E90s in stock. The forecourt was full of F30s. It was the end of the month and they were blowing out the E90s.

This one had very light front-end damage (parking lot scuffs) that the original owner had repaired at the dealer and paid for by insurance...so car fax wasn't clean.

It was the end if the month and they were willing to make a deal. Got mine for almost $10k less than the other E90 335 sedans on the lot.

Good deal.

I've also owned all generations from E30 to E90.

As a daily driver, the E90 335 trumps them all. Especially if you want AWD and auto.
