I've had my miata a -long- time. Since 2002 I think. Funny because I remember asking on this very forum if anyone thought it was a good deal and everyone thought it was not. It was 4500 bucks with 92,000 miles or so. It's a 1992. So, here I am still with the car a decade and a half later. It's been rebodied after it got hit. I used a 1994 tub purchased from metalman here on the forum. I used the 1992 harness with the 1.6. But, eventually I swapped in a 1.8 from yet another 1994. So now it's a 1.8 powered 1.6 wired 1994. With the 4.30 rear from the 1992. It's fun to drive. Then, several years ago I score a supercharger from I think a 1999. For sure an NB. The guy was upgrading to Flyin Miata turbo. M-whatever model supercharger. Who knows. Anyway it was cheap, no intercooler but the brackets and such are all there. Lots of miles, like 100k. I dunno. I think it has a power card, but I don't know what model power card it is, and after emailing back and forth with the power card people eventually they told me "if you don't know what year this card came from we can't say for sure what model it is" or something like that. Not really sure what to do with it or if it's still around. So what should I do? What would I do for engine management? I want as simple as possible. I'm not interested in mega squirt or anything. Just simple. I don't even care about big power, just a bit more. Any suggestions? I may have even asked these same questions a million years ago.

Can't help with explanations, Joel, (just learning myself) but I have a Jackson Racing supercharged NB in the garage if there's anything you need to look at.

If you're not comfortable using the power card due to the unknown history, you could go with the Voodoo Box from FM. Same basic concept but it also adds in an O2 signal modifier that avoids a lean condition that comes with the PC on tip-in. And you'll have access to tech support

Also, a PC for a 1.8 won't work on 1.6 wiring.

It would be good to know what SC that is. "M-whatever" means that it's a positive displacement blower like 95% of the Miata superchargers in existence, but there are two very distinct sizes. Can you post pics

I'll post some pics when o get the chance. I'm sure the voodoo box is great, but I don't know if this supercharger is in even that good of condition... I'm not sure if it how much I should invest in it.
