I second Seth. I hate drywall. I like doing my own work but I'd happily pay an arm and a leg for drywall to not have to do it. And I've only done a single 1200 sqft room, once. That was plenty.
Anything my mother-in-law knows I can operate. Talk about taking years off your life

Came here to add this. The only difference, now that I have a teenager to run it, I've just swapped out the actual mowing for having to get him to do it. Not always better.

I have the 10 inch version of that. With no guard. It's horrifying. There have been a couple of times when it's the right tool for the job, but I'm always glad to put it away.

That one which TVR Scott picked up appears to have gone straight to popping out good parts. I'm hopeful. About that, and about the incredibly cheap resin printers and their sacrificial casting media...
Engine hoist..... dang thing takes up too much space in my garage. It's invaluable to load or unload heavy stuff from my truck though......

With or without the gaurd, I'm sure if (im)properly used, you can still easily hack meat.
Why the fear? Google angle grinder accidents where the wheel explodes. Actually, don't do that.

Cut my thumb on my table saw back in August. There have been a couple times it would have been useful since then but I haven't had the balls to touch it again. I got lucky and only cut off 1/2 of the tip and they were able to sew it back on. Saws in general scare me now...as they should.

Check out SawStop. A bit pricey but they pay for themselves the very first time you DON'T cut a finger off. Just magical.
The tool I hate is a post hole digger. Maybe somewhere with soft loam and sandy soil they aren't the devil but here in Ky we have clay and rock. And a PHD is a special sort of torture.

Engine stand is disassembled and in a cabinet right now. That helps a bit. But man the footprint of the hoist in a two car garage.....
I don't mind drywall mudding. Only takes about five minutes of lessons to learn the four things you need to know. A couple of rooms of practice, and you are a pro.
Don't mind power saws. Keep your fingers away from the spinny bits, and never be in a hurry.
Snow shovels, a neccesary evil. Always plastic, always wooden handles. Never aluminum. Never fiberglass handles.
The tools I hate have to do with electronically transferring electronic information electronically. Whats that? I need to update that module? With electrons that I cannot see, to confirm they are going the right place? No, thank you very much.
When I moved to Colorado, I gave away my table saw, router, and lawn mower. Not using those anymore, and glad of it.
I never want to see a grout float again, but I still own one.

I may just have to do that if I decide I want to keep doing wood work as a hobby.
Post hole diggers suck even up here in Illinois with nice soils. I can only imagine what they would be like in clay/rock.
I totally did not see the NOT want to own.
My hates are quite common: any drywall finishing tools, snow shovel, post hole diggers, anything 2 stroke powered and hand powdered hedge clippers.
1/2" x 50' powered sewer snake. Finally broke down and bought one from HF a few weeks ago. Been in my house near 20 years and a slow-draining / clogged main sewer line is the only problem I've had consistently. Every ~18 months or so. Had I bought one 15 years ago I would have saved a lot on plumbers bills. Not sure how happy about that I'd be.
I love tools, just need more space for them.
A lot of people here have mentioned lawnmowers. To add fuel to that fire i relate to you all the tale of that time my mom ran a pushmower over a flint rock that shot lots of pointy bits out the back and basically cut one of her legs most of the way off. All the bones, most of the tendons/ligaments. The last foot or so was held on by skin. "Near-amputation". She didn't walk again for about 6 months.
But now she dances for fun, so start breathing again!

I've done it enough that I can do a better job than most of what I see that people pay for, just takes me a bit longer. The results are satisfying. That doesn't mean I want to do more. My drywall work it what keeps me from doing bondo. My perception is that it's like drywall, but on cars, which doesn't sound fun at all.
