The 01-05 cars were good appliances, but enthusiasts shunned them for the loss of double wishbones up front.

My mom has the 2012 Civic. Coming from my experience with Honda Civics from 91, 95, 97, 03, as well as passenger time in a 06-11 Civic, the 2012 is a piece of garbage. I certainly do not want any harm to come to my mom or anyone driving/riding in this car, but if a tree fell on it tomorrow, I would not be sad.

When my 2009 Civic lease was up, I got a 2012.
I didn't like it so much, compared to the 2009.
Mileage is much better than 2009.
Lease swap time is coming up again, and maybe that 2012 was not so bad.
Or maybe I've forgotten how much I liked the 2009.

So will see. Perhaps there's a Kia in my future.
