It is a lot of fun. Go to a Hot rod show with a pinto and watch the reactions. I swear that half of those in attendance owned a pinto at one point in their life.

I love that the Challenge cars got the picture perfect spots to park along the water. Maybe they were thinking of pushing them in when they were directed there. That is some good stuff to show its not about shiny paint and electronics.
Did Wally choose the spot for the table? I mean, right next door to the funnel cake and all seems so perfect.....

That's funny but exactly what happened a year ago when my buddies and I took our XR4Ti with a 'megasquirt' sticker in the back window to the Georgia Tech Auto Show, parked it next to a GT3 and ended up having a half dozen people continuously asking us questions about MS and everything about it, guess that's what you get from a 'tech' school, the nerds got more excited about the computer than the car
The $2009 West Coast Challenge is August 22, 23... But I believe both of those cars are going for the SD Grand Challenge, which is a $1000 budget, 3 events, of which the 3rd weekend runs with the $2009 Class.
